Bank of India, one of the leading banks of the country, celebrated Mahotsav at all the branches Pan India on Friday 11 of August. Shri R.A. Sankara Narayanan, Executive Director of Bank of India was in Kolkata and attended the Mahotsav Program at BoI Lindsay Street Branch. Customers from other branches also attended the program held at BoI Lindsay Street Branch. Shri S.K. Aggarwal, GM NBG (East) and Shri Deb Kumar Basu, Zonal Manager, Kolkata were also present to grace the occasion.
On the last occasion, when Shri Dinabandhu Mohapatra, MD & CEO of Bank of India was in Kolkata in July 2017 where he told the reporters that most likely BoI will be back in black from first quarter itself, if not then from 2nd Quarter. But very successfully BoI has posted Net Profit of Rs.8771.00 lacs as on first quarter itself ended on 30.06.2017. The credit for the positive results of the Bank goes to new initiatives like Ghar Ghar Dastak & Mission Samadhan implemented by the Bank.
Details about the Mahotsav: MAHOTSAV, an initiative by Bank of India in all their branches Pan India is to promote their customer friendly Retail Loan/Agriculture Loan/ MSE products. Mahotsav spreads the message GHAR GHAR DASTAK & MISSION SAMADHAN to create awareness about various deposit / loan products keeping in mind the best interests of the customers. This also spreads the message that BOI is connected to the people at the grassroots level & very much committed to the people from all strata of the society. Mahotsav is also encompassing “recovery & resolution of NPA & to inform the customer of the exciting offers BOI provides them in the Retail Loan segment.
