Clothes Distributed t To The Under Privileged Children By Paridhan Group

Towards their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, Paridhan Group  a large garment trader, distributed  old clothes from their shop at Kankurgachi Sore,  Kolkata to   under privileged children  on 16 August, 2017.  They held this programme under a theme of “Threads of Heart”.

Jhulan Goswami, eminent Cricketer of Indian Women Cricket Team , reputed film actress, Ritabhari Chakraborty and eminent painter , Wasim  Kapoor  were present on the occasion.

Paridhan’s kindness initiative, Threads of Heart, has begun with much furore in their Kakurgachi  outlet! Under this initiative, customers of Paridhan donate their old clothes to the brand, which are collected and prepared to be distributed among the underprivileged members of the society. In return, as a token of appreciation Paridhan gives its customers a special benefit voucher worth 50% of their shopping bill in Paridhan.

“Threads of Heart is our way of looking out for our extended family – the people who do not share the same privileges as us.  By providing them with clothing in this festive season, we’re sharing with them the happiness of having new clothes for the celebrations and that is what makes this initiative worth it!” said Alok Agarwal.

Paridhan has partnered up with various NGOs so that the donated clothes reach the right hands. Each donated clothing is picked and checked by Paridhan to ensure it truly is distribution worthy. “This initiative is really close to our hearts and hence we do our best in making sure we’re doing justice to it,” said Ashok Agarwal.

The noble thought behind this cause has inspired both existing and new customers at Paridhan to actively participate. Threads of Heart kicked off on 13th of August and since then there have been massive amounts of clothes donated at the  outlet of Paridhan. “We are humbled by the willingness and participation of our customers in making Threads of Heart a successful initiative. This truly adds on to the spirit of upcoming festivities!” said Ashok Agarwal.

With Threads of Heart, Paridhan is making humanity a part of the celebrations again. After all, the greatest happiness is always the one that’s shared!

Paridhan Group collected old clothes from their customers, who were given Gift Vouchers in exchange of their old clothes. Vouchers may be redeemed from their shops in four (4) locations in the City like Kankurgachi, Burrabazar, Howrah and Satyanarayan Park.

Shri Ashok Agarwal, Director, Paridhan Group said in his speech that the clothes were distributed among the under privileged children in connection with Independence Day Celebration.
