Children were taught to mould pralines with the pastry chefs at JW Marriott Kolkata

Recently, World Chocolate Day was celebrated across the globe and JW Marriott Kolkata honored this day by preparing some decadent chocolates for all the chocolatarians out there! Additionally they lined up an interesting workshop for kids with the star being – Chocolate. With summer vacations going on, parents get anxious of how to make the vacations fruitful for kids.

To make it worthwhile, JW Marriott Kolkata had arranged another exciting workshop for the kids to let their creative juices flow. After the phenomenal success of the ‘Doughnut Decoration’ activity held quite recently, JW Lounge organized yet another interesting session for kids on praline molding. Kids aged 6-12 were seen taking part in the session and learning some awesome tricks to craft a perfect chocolate praline.

In this session, children were taught how to fill chocolate shells with filling. There were 3 types of filling on offer – Orange, Strawberry & Hazelnut. After filling the chocolate shells, children let their ingenious side flow and coated their piece of art in assorted varieties of nuts, chocolate chips, cocoa powder and more.

JW Marriott Kolkata’s team of talented pastry chefs supervised the activity, headed by Chef Alok Anand, Executive Chef, JW Marriott Kolkata. Kids engaged in a fun session, showcasing their talent with their love of chocolate.
