Fashion Revolution is an international movement championing fair trade and transparency in the fashion supply chain. This movement is now present in more than 100 countries and is a volunteer run organisation world-wide.
About the Social Event: Fashion Revolution Week is #whomademyclothes campaign happens in April, which happens at the time of the Rana Plaza factory collapse, where 1,138 people were killed and many more injured on 24th April 2013. We use this week to encourage millions of people to ask brands ‘Who made my clothes’ and demand greater transparency in the fashion supply chain.
This is going to be a walk-in introductory awareness program where simultaneous events will be going on. On loop movie screenings, photo booths, information kiosks, scrap button making, art installations etc are some of the planned and suggested activities.
