With Eid round the corner and with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, Shiraz Golden Restaurant announced their month long ‘Haleem Festival’ that would feature abouquet of tempting recipes for the foodies of the city. Traditionally, prepared only during Ramadan, Haleem is a wholesome stew, prepared with chunks of meat, wheat, lentils & spices, and originating from Middle East.
“The month of Ramadan has begun and Haleem is the most preferred dish to break the day long fast as it is very filling, rich in protein and easily digestible. We have been organising the Haleem Festival for nearly two decades and our patrons eagerly await this time of the year. We, as always, select the best quality raw materials for preparation of this delicacy”, said Mr Ishtiaque Ahmed, Partner, Shiraz Golden Restaurant.
The wide array of Haleem items include Mutton Shahi Haleem, Chicken Shahi Haleem, Mutton Irani Haleem, Mutton Afghani Haleem, Mutton Hyderabadi Haleem that will be served during the month-long Haleem Festival.
A meal for two at the festival will cost around Rs 500/- exclusive of taxes.
