Heartfulness, Shri Ram Chandra Mission organised a riveting panel discussion titled “Resolve to Evolve “Rest not till the goal is achieved on National Youth, which is celebrated on the day of Swami Vivekananda’s birth. The discussion featured eminent heads, as well as top medical practitioners of the country. The panellists present were Dr. Debi Prasad Duari (Director Research & Academic of MP Birla Planetarium, Kolkata. Hon. Faculty. Post Directorial Fellow of Tata Institute of Fundamental research), Dr Rumi Raha Chowdhury (Director of Post Graduate Study in Clinical Neuroscience and Scientific Adviser of Clinical Neuroscience, University of Cambridge) Dr Sukumar Mukherjee (MD, MRCP (London & Edinburgh) CMRI, Department of Internal Medicine). The session was hosted and moderated by Mr. Rishabh C Kothari, Joint Secretary of Heartfulness Institute at the Heartfulness Meditation Centre, Anandapur.
The interactive discussion focussed on transformative dimensions of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and how the development of our mindset is required in order to succeed in today’s age. The discussion was an eye-opening session for many as the speakers discussed the relevance and instances from their lives, which impacted them personally as well as professionally.
Dr Sukumar Mukherjee (MD, MRCP (London & Edinburgh) CMRI, Department of Internal Medicine) stated, “It was a highly interactive session as such discussions open up a dialogue, helps us all evolve as a person and think about the positive influence of Swamiji’s teachings in our lives. He was a pioneer and rightfully so as he taught us to charge of our mind body and soul”.
Shedding light on the discussion, Mr. Rishabh C Kothari, Joint Secretary of Heartfulness Institute moderating the discussion spoke about what went behind setting up such a riveting discussion,” while we conceptualised this discussion, we tried to get eminent personalities, from different backgrounds to share their stories. Since, this would provide the audience a large canvas to reflect upon. The Heartfulness institute’s teachings dabbles with those of Swamiji’s and helps people to explore and radiate inner positivity through their own actions and efforts”.
