IIMC Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards 2018 brought forth this year’s most creative awards segment on Durga Puja. The Press Meet to announce the Winners was held at Urbana Community Hall today. The event was attended by Director and Producer Arindam Sil Actress Koneenica Banerjee, Actress Suchandra Vaaniya along with DJ Akash who is an internationally acclaimed DJ with a passion for music which is infectious.
IIMC Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards 2018 honored the best Durga Puja Committee on Social Media platform that covered all the creative aspects of digital promotion starting from the concept, creativity, implementation and the number of page likes to the Best Integrated (cross platform) Social Media Campaign. This contest witnessed a whopping 2000 entries from all over West Bengal. All the Puja Committee had taken their move towards the Digital Media by successfully using information, communication and technology in integrating people, social media and data to achieve future transformation and growth.
The judging category is divided into 3 parts: Best Digital Impact Award, Jury Choice Awards and Peoples’ Choice Award. The trophies would be handed over to the winning Durga Puja Committees on 14th October, 2018 by the Jury members of IIMC Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards 2018.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Vikash Singh, Director of IIMC said, “Being a part of the culture capital and the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, we feel privileged to witness the Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards 2018. The hunt for the Durga Puja with the best Social Media campaign finally comes to an end. We have received a huge response from all over the West Bengal. The journey of IIMC Sharodiya Digital Impact Awards from 700 participants from the 1st edition to a whopping 1500 in the Second year and now we are stepped into third year with 2000 participants is really overwhelming. I extend my heartiest congratulations to the winner.”
It was the time to be creative, it was the time to roll on enthusiastically in the most wanted field of today’s time that is – go Digital.
