Kolkata, 15th July 2017: Bank of India organized a unique Regional Conclave for the Area Managers and Client Relationship Executives in Kolkata. Shri Dinabandhu Mohapatra, Managing Director & CEO, and Shri Atanu Kumar Das, Executive Director, Bank of India were present in Kolkata to share their valuable views during the Regional Conclave. Shri Dinabandhu Mohapatra, MD & CEO, Shri Atanu Kumar Das, Executive Director and Shri S.K. Aggarwal, General Manager (NBG-East) were also present to brief the media on the introduction of Area Managers Office Concept and Star Prime Concept of the Bank of India along with other important initiatives.
The interaction also focused on the Success of Ghar Ghar Dastak, Mission Samadhan, Retail Loans, and SMEs along with other core issues. Both Ghar Ghar Dastak and Mission Samadhan are the brain child of Shri Dinabandhu Mohapatra which aims at augmenting Retail Credit and resolution of NPAs. Bank of India witnessed a huge success during the Ghar Ghar Dastak Campaign which helped the bank to Connect & Re-Connect with the new as well as old customers. The impact of Ghar Ghar Dastak helped to spread the message that BOI is connected to the people at the grassroots level and very much committed to the people from all strata of the society.
Mr Dinabandhu Mohapatra, a post-graduate in Economics and holding a degree in Law, joined Bank of India as a Direct Recruit Officer in the year 1984. During his career spanning over three decades, he has headed various Branches, Departments, Zones and National Banking Groups in Eastern, Western, Northern and Southern parts of the country. He has taken charge as Managing Director & CEO of the Bank on 05 May, 2017.
Shri Atanu Kumar Das is a post graduate in Applied Economics and NET holder from UGC. While pursuing a doctoral degree at IIT, Kharagpur, Shri Das joined the Banking Industry as Economist in the year 1994. In his 23 years of banking experience, he has been involved at both policy and operational levels. He has taken charge as Executive Director of Bank of India on 17.02.2017.
