KNC Services with Swarna Shilpa Bachao Committee (SSBC) and Bullion Gem and Jewellers Association (BGJA) inaugurated “Bengal International Jewellery Show” (BIJS) today at New Town Eco Park – Rajarhat (Kolkata). The premiere B2B exhibition will start from 12th to 14th January 2019 at New Town Eco Park – Rajarhat (Kolkata), aimed to promote the real essence of Calcutta’s handcrafted jewellery and to create awareness of their artisans in the International markets. The show timings will be 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
The inauguration took place in the esteemed presence of Sri Sadhan Pande, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Self-Help Group & Self Employment, Govt. of West Bengal; Sri Sujit Bose, Minister of Fire & Emergency Services Department, Govt. of West Bengal Along with Sri Pramod Agarwal, Chairman, GJEPC; Sri Anantha Padamabhan, Chairman, GJC; Sri Nitin Kandelwal, Ex Chairman, GJC & BIJS Steering Committee Members; Sri Arun Verma, President, BGJA Burrabazar, Mr. Samar Kumar Dey, Working President, Swarna Shilpa Bachao Committee; Mr. Pankaj Parekh, Regional President, IBJA and International Convenor Steering Committee BIJS and Mrs. Kranti Nagvekar, Managing Director, KNC Services.
The inauguration was followed by Gem and Jewellery Parichay Card distribution session to the Swarnkar Karigars by Sri Pramod Agarwal, Chairman, GJEPC and Sri Samar Kr. De, Working President, SSBC. Space of about 3000 sqmts with 150+ exhibitors and hosting about 400+ buyers from International & Domestic regions.
Buyer profile from countries like – U.S.A, U.K, Turkey, Middle East, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Singapore along with various states from India like, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Bihar, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Andhra-Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Delhi.
