“Mahul” releases new album “Dulung Dulung”

Famous Bengali folk band Mahul announced grand release of their puja special album “Dulung Dulung on 30th Aug, Friday at a renowned cafeteria situated in Kolkata. The album was released by the band member of Mahul- Partha Bhowmik, Sonai Sen and Soham Bhowmik in the midst of fans. The album is released under the banner of O-Music. Mr. Sudip Bose, the director of OTT Solutions, the music label owner, was also present at the launch.

The album has 4 songs and one of the jhumur song “Dulung Dulung” is written by poet Debasis Danda. The songs are sung by Partha Bhowmik and Sonai Sen. The surprize element of the album is the Music composition by young Soham Bhowmik. Soham has achieved a large fan following at a very young age and is considered as an upcoming star. The album is digitally available across all key audio platforms inclusive of Gaana, Saavn, iTunes, Spotify and in the YouTube channel, “Nonstop Binodon” and “Mahul Band”.

The lead vocalist of Mahul Band Mr. Partha Bhowmik said, “We are so happy to launch our new album as a puja release. We are trying to create a new vibe in the Bengali folk song and hope that people will love the album. We are grateful to our fans for such overwhelming response”

Sonai Sen – The female vocalist of Mahul Band said, “not only the song “dulung dulung” written by Debasis Da and sang by me, people will definitely love the two more songs sung by Partha Da, one is “Hason Rajar Nao” and other one is “Piriter vab na jene”. And people will surely enjoy the wonderful arrangement of the other song “Baghmundir Pahare”.

Mr. Sudip Bose, the owner of OTT Solutions and Music Label “O Music” said, “I congratulate Partha Babu for his wonderful effort to establish Bengali folk songs in a unique way. I am so delighted to be the part of this album.”

“Dulung Dulung” has surely added an extra zing to the puja flavour.
