Mrs Chaitali Das, Wins AFT MRS International 2018 Title At AFT Miss & Mrs International Pageant in Dubai

 Social Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Mrs Chaitali Das, spearheading Rakshak Foundation in Kolkata has won the AFT MRS International 2018 Title at AFT Miss & Mrs International Pageant, Dubai. There were contestants from many countries around the world including United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Dubai, and Singapore. Mrs Shivani Singh, United Kingdom and Mrs Ruchi Saxena, Singapore became the first and second runner up respectively.

“The beauty pageant is no more just about beauty but it is about the complete personality of the contestant. It’s a platform to showcase your talent and enhance visibility for your work. It was an euphoric feeling on winning the title as all the contestants across countries were super talented”, said Mrs Chaitali Das, Social Entrepreneur and Philanthropist, Managing Trustee, Rakshak Foundation

AFT Miss & Mrs International Pageant had several rounds like the Talent Round, where contestants performed on stage, followed by Introduction Round wearing the National costume, followed by Q&A Round wearing ethnic clothes and the Crowning Round where contestants had to walk the ramp wearing a gown.

The contestants had to go through number of grooming sessions, photo shoots for 4 days before the Grand Finale. The grooming session includes, morning yoga sessions, poise, ramp walk, desert safari, etc.

Mrs Das works in the areas of Gender equality, rural women empowerment, empowering children and youth from disadvantaged background. She has been contributing reforming measures, working closely with the Directorate of Prison in the Correctional Homes of West Bengal providing skill development, placement and rehabilitation for them. Over the course of time, through her philanthropic activities, she has managed to impact over 20,000 lives and has pledged to do so with even more vigour than ever.
