Rehabilitation Medicine/PMR is one of the upcoming medical fraternity in the developing World though it has been already established as an very important specialty in western World. Unfortunately it is not so developed in India. Most of the Neurological Conditions, Pain due to Cumulative trauma, Geriatric Conditions, Specific areas of Cardio Pulmonary , Pediatric ailments may be best dealt by a rehab team but there is gross lack of awareness regarding this subject.
More than 400 PMR Specialist throughout country and more than 50 International delegates from different countries from all over the world are participating in this conference to exchange their research work and expertise. This will definitely uplift the standard of practice to help differently abled persons in near future. Along with that good number of blind and spastic little kids have performed choreography in the inaugural program.
