By Suvajit Mukherjee,Kolkata: – The Supreme Court of India recognized a third gender that is neither male nor female, and as a class entitled to reservation in education and jobs, stating “Recognition of transgenders as a third gender is not a social or medical issue but a human rights issue.”they always face discrimination in their life.so on 1st June,2017 the Rotary Sadan and its district  governor Shyamashree sen has been strong advocate of equal rights for transgenders and hosting a seminar for highlighting the issue related to vocational integrations as well as social integration.representatives from TATA steel Ms Ayushi Das and Anubhuti has spoken about it.District governor Shyamashree Sen also spoke about it.
