Parx, the premium casual fashion lifestyle brand through its special initiative in Independent music “Parx Hunt 2017 – India’s Best College Bands” announced Yajnyavalkya Band from Sarsuna College as the winner of the East Regional Finale this year. The sparkling event took place at the Medical College of Bengal, 88 College Street, Kolkata in presence of the esteemed jury comprising of Roheet Mukherjee and Suyasha Sengupta from The Ganesh Talkies. The celebrity host for this event was Indian Musician, Actor, Director, Producer and Music Writer Luke Kenny. The winner was presented the bumper cash prize by Pragati Srivastava, Brand Head – PARX and will get a chance to perform at the Finals in Mumbai next month and win this National competition this year.
The evening was an upbeat affair when Underground Authority – the only formidable Rap-Rock outfit from India known for their music to express and impress kept the audience captivated. The special performance managed to keep the students entertained and the music lovers engaged at the Indoor Auditorium of Medical College of Bengal, Kolkata.
