By Staff Reporter & Click By Sangita:- In a Media Conference, held in The Park hotel on Friday afternoon (18 August, 2017), Mahesh ‘Mac’  Srinivasan, President , BNI Asia Pacific & National Director of India informed that there was remarkable growth of Business Network International (BNI), an US-based World’s largest Business referral organization, during the recent past.

 

He mentioned in his speech that a total of Rs. 5,000 crores  of revenue was generated in 2016. Moreover, there were 38% growth in its Membership  and 70% growth in business referred for members,  Mr. Srinivasan  added. He further  pointed out that BNI had targeted to its revenue to Rs.7,000 crores by the end of 2017.

Mr. Srinivasan said that BNI India aims at spreading its roots to various States  & regions  across India thereby fostering the growth of business entrepreneurship  &  small and medium enterprises  through business networking.  He stated that BNI has successfully  established  itself  in 13 new cities in India including Devanahalli, Jaipur, Kalyan  Dombivali, Kolkata, Nagpur, Nasik, Panvel, Pondicherry, Ranchi, Trissur, Varanasi, Indore and Lucknow. Thus, BNI is now in a total of 60 regions and 39 cities in India, he added.

According to Mr. Srinivasan,  BNI India & APAC have been able to achieve fantastic growth during the last two years, creating numerous World Records. He explained that BNI India has created World Record by launching World’s Largest Chapter at Surat including 112 members . Mr. Srinivasan  further elaborated that  BNI APAC has been able to capture top 10 positions in the World like BNI Prudent  – 118 members in Kolkata, BNI Abundance – 117 members in China, BNI Alchemist – 115 members in Surat, BNI Gladiator – 112 members in Surat, BNI Champions – 107 members in Bengaluru, BNI – 104 members in Taiwan, BNI Champs – 103 members  in Pune, BNI Growth – 102 members in Japan, BNI Fortune – 101 members in Pune and BNI Dynamic – 101 members in Malaysia.

He also informed that BNI will organize its Annual Day on Saturday, 19 August, 2017 at JW Marriot Hotel in Kolkata which will be attended by senior leaders and entrepreneurs from all over the World.

Commenting on BNI India’s significant growth, Mr. Weihmiller stated: “Not only is there a resurgence of broad-based development in India, recent reports show the Indian economy is at the cusp of entering its strongest growth phase.  India continues to be one of the fastest-growing economies on the planet.
