SSKM-arrived Mamata’s convoy, ready Trauma Care Center, formed Special Medical Board

#Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee injured in Nandigram. He was brought to SSKM Hospital through Green Corridor. Fully Ready Trauma Care Center. At the same time the Woodburn department of the hospital has been kept ready. A special medical team has been formed for the treatment of Mamata Banerjee.

Abhishek Banerjee and Minister Arup Biswas rushed to the hospital after learning of the decision to bring the Chief Minister to Kolkata. State Health Secretary Narayan Swarup Nigam reached the hospital. Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar reached the hospital to see the Chief Minister. The Woodburn Block compound has been virtually cordoned off. Minister Sadhan Pandey, Derek O-Bryan and Chandrima Bhattacharya reached the hospital one by one.

According to SSKM sources, a special medical board has been formed with the heads of six departments for the treatment of the chief minister. The board has doctors from General Medicine, Anesthesia, Endocrinology and Orthopedics. It may be mentioned that a special ambulance with ICU support was placed in the convoy of the Chief Minister. Although the Chief Minister did not get in that ambulance. He returned to Calcutta in his car. On his way back to Kolkata, he was asked to be treated at a large private hospital, but he refused and was admitted to SSKM Hospital.

According to police sources, his convoy left Nandigram around 6.30 pm. He was taken to the hospital through the green corridor all the way. The convoy reached SSKM at 9.45 am. He was then taken out of the car on a stretcher and taken inside. He is currently undergoing treatment there.

As soon as the Chief Minister reached the hospital, Trinamool activists started chanting slogans against the BJP. That slogan was stopped at the request of the police. However, the Governor started chanting slogans as soon as he reached the hospital to see the Chief Minister. The slogan ‘Go Back’ started around the governor. Trinamool protests are going on outside the hospital.
