Even before the Chief Minister reached the hospital, grassroots activists and supporters crowded the SSKM premises. They started shouting slogans outside the Woodburn block. As soon as the governor entered, the grassroots activists became more excited. They started shouting at the governor as ‘BJP’s pimp’. After that the slogan ‘Go Back’ came up. They questioned why the BJP conspired in this way and attacked Mamata Banerjee.
On the other hand, the people outside SSKM got excited when they saw the governor’s car coming out again on the way back. They keep asking why the governor has come. Allegedly, shoes were thrown at the governor’s car. The situation became so unfavorable that the Commissioner of Police of Calcutta himself took the initiative to get the Governor’s car out of the hospital.
