#Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress is taking to the streets today to protest the attack on Mamata Banerjee. The ruling party will hold protests in all parts of the state from 3pm to 5pm. All the top leaders of the party will be on the streets. However, Mamata Banerjee herself has given a message to the party workers to exercise restraint in the face of this protest. In a video message, Mamata Banerjee said, “Everyone stay calm and restrained. This time we have to fight with restraint.”

Mamata Banerjee is going to get on the road soon. He was scheduled to hold a meeting from tomorrow. Now it is being done from Sunday. Mamata Banerjee refused to give up an inch of land as she was ill during the polls. So he will hold a meeting in a wheelchair. Which is said to be one of the support in the election campaign or to mobilize the workers like the political circles. On the other hand, a six-member Trinamool delegation is visiting the Central Election Commission office in Delhi today. Derek and Brian, Saugat Roy, Kakli Ghosh Dastidar, Pratima Mandal, Shatabdi Roy and Shantanu Sen are in the team. They will meet the officials of the Election Commission at 12 noon.

The TMC has already lodged a complaint with the Election Commission on the issue of Mamata Banerjee’s injury. They complained that the Election Commission could not properly organize the security of Mamata Banerjee. They say the attack on a Z-plus category woman was pre-planned. In this context, they mentioned a tweet from Soumitra Khan. Where he said, the game will be played after 5 pm on the 10th. At the same time, the Trinamool is going to lodge allegations against BJP state president Dilip Ghosh. Ruling party MP Saugat Roy said, “You have seen what Dilip Ghosh and Soumitra Khan said. We will take up the matter with the commission.”
