He returned home on Friday afternoon after two days of treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors. He returned home with the help of a wheelchair.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission is not satisfied with the Chief Secretary’s report submitted on Friday. The commission has summoned the report again. The commission has summoned a report from the police superintendent of East Midnapore. It has been directed to give a detailed report within 24 hours on when the Chief Minister was out of the house, which temples he visited during the catastrophe, how many security guards were there at the time of the accident, and how the crowd was in the area.

Earlier, the police superintendent sent a six-page report to the commission. According to commission sources, the report, which was based on information sent by the district police, did not mention how the injuries occurred. So the Election Commission asked for a report from the Chief Secretary. The commission summoned a detailed report this evening. According to sources, the commission may hold a meeting today on the Nandigram incident.
