#Kolkata: Sujata Mandal (Khan) left the BJP and joined the Trinamool shortly before the Assembly elections began. Trinamool is the candidate for Arambagh assembly constituency. Today, Sujata made several complaints about the voting process in Arambagh in the third phase of the election. He accused EVM fraud of not allowing grassroots agents to enter the booth. He even claimed that grassroots activists were being beaten in Arandi.
Sujata went to Arandi immediately after being beaten by the workers. He was surrounded by BJP workers and attacked. The Trinamool complained to the Election Commission about this matter. It is alleged that BJP goons attacked Trinamool candidate Sujata at Mahallapara in Arandi, Hughli.
The complaint further states that Sujata’s personal security officer was seriously injured in the attack. He was allegedly hit in the head, causing serious injuries. Trinamool said that Sujata was also hit on the head with a bamboo stick.
Trinamool complained to the Election Commission that the central forces did not take appropriate action at the time of the incident. Trinamool alleges that they were playing the role of silent spectators. The video of the attack on Sujata has also been sent to the Trinamool Commission.
Firhad Hakim also complained to the commission about EVM fraud in Uluberia. Firhad also claimed that the commission was biased by the BJP.
Incidentally, BJP workers surrounded Sujata as soon as she reached Arandi. But even in the face of the attack, Sujata said, warning in return, ‘You are misbehaving! Come out, why are you hiding, come forward! ‘
Sujata said, ‘I have been attacked by the BJP for being a lonely girl. It broke my head, hit me in the waist. But I will look at the BJP. I will win in Arambagh. ‘
