Nandigram: After 14 days of fighting, Rabin Mannar, a grassroots activist from Nandigram, died

#Kolkata: Mamata Banerjee expressed concern over her condition in several public meetings. That fear came true. Trinamool activist Rabindranath Manna, who was injured in a BJP attack in Nandigram, died early Friday. On March 26, BJP-backed miscreants attacked three grassroots activists, including Rabin Manna. Rabin Manna was admitted to SSKM Hospital with serious injuries. He died at 4.30 am today. Mamata Banerjee herself was looking into his physical condition.

Sources said Trinamool district president Soumen Mohapatra is going to SSKM to bring his body. The body will be brought to Nandigram by 6 pm.

Mamata Banerjee’s election agent Sheikh Sufian said the Trinamool would stage a sit-in protest in front of the Nandigram police station after the bodies arrived from Kolkata. Trinamool activists will continue the protest in front of Nandigram police station. He said the sit-in protests would continue until the culprits were arrested.

On the night of March 26, the houses of three grassroots activists in the Bayal 2 gram panchayat area were attacked There were allegations that the grassroots activists were also beaten. Among the victims was Rabin Manna. He was rushed to SSKM Hospital in Kolkata as his injuries were serious Sheikh Sufian then complained, ‘The BJP’s Harmads have carried out this attack. The police have been repeatedly accused in their name, but no action has been taken.

Mamata Banerjee went to Rabin Manna’s house during the election campaign. “I don’t know if he will survive if he beats my son like that,” he told a rally. Rabin Manna’s wife is getting a sari to beg my husband.
