#Kolkata: Trinamool is saying sarcastically, ‘Daily Passenger’. But in the battle for the Bengal occupation (West Bengal Assembly Election 2021), Union Home Minister Amit Shah refused to pay attention to those sarcasm. And this time the vote is ‘entering’ in Calcutta. So it is not a meeting or a road show to win Bhabanipur, one of the most important centers of Kolkata, but to promote it on a completely different table. He will go door-to-door in Bhabanipur on Friday, the day before the fourth phase of the state polls.
It is learned that Amit Shah will go from house to house in several areas of Bhabanipur on Friday afternoon to campaign in support of party candidate Rudranil Ghosh. After that he will do road show in Jagaddal first and in Madhyamgram in the evening. Incidentally, before the vote, BJP all-India president JP Nadda called on the people to go door-to-door in this Bhabanipur and win. This time Shah will go from house to house in Bhabanipur in Kolkata for voting.
Incidentally, Bhabanipur was the constituency of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. This time, however, he contested from Nandigram. Shuvendu Adhikari, a recent Trinamool renegade, is fighting against him. Power Minister Shobhandev Chatterjee has become the Trinamool candidate in Mamata-less Bhabanipur. The BJP’s unexpected increase in the number of Lok Sabha votes in the Bhabanipur constituency has made the Gerua camp eager to snatch that seat as well. So the BJP is desperate to change the campaign table and win that seat.
On the other hand, JP Nadda will do road show first in Gopalpur, then in Chakdaha and finally in Burdwan from this morning. Recently, Naddar meetings were supposed to be held at Serampore and later at Chunchura, but two meetings were canceled due to lack of crowd. However, the BJP is reluctant to accept the demand not to crowd. However, Nadda is focusing on the road show, not the meeting.
On the other hand, Asaduddin Owaisi, who has fielded candidates for several seats in the state, has a meeting at Sagardighi in Murshidabad. He will also hold a meeting in Asansol later.
