#Kolkata: Various centers of heated Bengal in the fourth round of voting. Voting is taking place in 44 centers in five districts. Today is the day to decide the fate of some star candidates of BJP and Trinamool camps in different centers. While visiting the booth, BJP candidate from Tollygunge Babul Supriyo (Babul Supriyo) faced protests today.
According to Babul, the protest was organized by grassroots activists. The BJP candidate claimed that there was a rigged vote in this center. After that he came to the booth at Battala. That’s when the tension spread in the area. Although the Trinamool has not acknowledged the allegations.
Again counter-allegations from the Trinamool, Babul was trying to get a printed vote and he went to occupy the booth. And he was also trying to snatch the voter card. Although Babul has blamed the grassroots for this incident.
BJP candidate Locket Chatterjee also faced protests on the day. Locket Chatterjee, a candidate for the Assembly elections, has been roaming the booths since this morning. He went to a booth adjacent to the complaint bandel and saw several people outside the booth. They did not have a valid card.
According to Lockett, these outsiders entered without permission. It is alleged that he was chased after protesting. It is learned that the vehicle was also vandalized. He soon informed the Election Commission about the matter. Lockett also said he would demand re-election in the area.
