Needle: Locket Chatterjee faced protests on the morning of the fourth round of voting. It is alleged that local people vandalized his car at booth number 7 in Ishwarbhabhag area of Chunchura. Media vehicles were also vandalized.
Locket Chatterjee, a candidate for the Assembly elections, has been roaming the booths since this morning. Locket Chatterjee told News18Bangla, “A woman was rigging the ballot in this booth. I caught her. If I wanted to see her identity card, she showed me the Covid management card. Then the attack started.”
