#Kolkata: Damaged lungs, fluctuating oxygen saturation levels. Although critical, Madan Mitra, a Kamarhati TMC candidate from Kamarhati, is in stable condition. But the problem is growing over time. He was shifted from the Woodburn ward of SSKM Hospital to Apollo Gleneagles Hospital after Madan Mitra’s Corona Report came positive on Wednesday evening. He is currently undergoing treatment at ICU No. 3524 of this private bypass hospital.

Apollo Hospital sources said he was being given a non-invasive ventilation bypap. However, he is better off than he was last night. The level of oxygen in the blood was much lower at night, but the situation has improved a bit in the morning.

The family decided to rush Madan Mitra to SSKM Hospital on Wednesday afternoon due to increased respiratory problems. He was admitted to Woodburn Ward at noon. He was treated there till evening. When the corona test report is positive, the bypass is transferred to the adjacent Apollo Gleneagles. On this day, Madan Mitra was suffering from severe oxygen deficiency in his body. Without oxygen from outside, the level of oxygen in the blood drops to 40. According to sources, he had to be given four liters of oxygen since he was admitted to SSKM Hospital at noon. Besides, he is also known to have pneumonia.

In the fifth phase (West Bengal Election 2021 Phase 5), Madan Mitra suddenly fell ill in the afternoon on the day of Kamarhati Constituency. He was taken to a local office that day and given oxygen after initial treatment. After that he recovered from the initial treatment. But even then the problem was not completely solved. He was feeling seriously ill again this morning. The family decides to be hospitalized.

Incidentally, on the morning of the fifth phase of the election, the veteran leader of the Trinamool fell ill at the last moment even though he worshiped in a light mood in Dakshineswar. At the time, doctors said there was nothing to fear, a little more stress and intense heat on election day. It was also reported that all the reports of Sugar-Pressure were correct. He was admitted to the hospital around noon yesterday. If the corona is tested there, the report is positive.
