The seventh round of voting is going on in Bengal today with tight security and corona panic. Voting has been going on in 34 constituencies of five districts including Kolkata since this morning. Voting took place in 6 constituencies of South Dinajpur, 6 constituencies of Maldar, 9 constituencies of Murshidabad and 9 constituencies of West Burdwan. Voting is also going on in South Kolkata. Voting is not taking place in Jangipur and Samsherganj due to the death of the candidate. There are 69,600 paramilitaries deployed in the state for the security of the seventh phase. 75,300 soldiers guarding the booth. Voting has been arranged in each booth in accordance with the Kovid rules.
