#Kolkata: The Corona (COVID-19 2nd WAVE) situation in the country as well as in the state is raising concerns. Lack of hospital beds, lack of oxygen (Oxygen Crisis) are the deaths of corona sufferers. Even in this situation, the black market of oxygen has started in the market. Many people are being forced to buy oxygen for big money. Therefore, 55 Oxygen Plants will be set up at the initiative of the state government to handle the emergency situation like Corona Extreme. In the last few months, MGPS will ensure oxygen supply through pipeline to a total of 105 government coveted hospitals up to sub-divisional level.

With this method, it is possible to provide uninterrupted oxygen service to about 12,500 Kovid patients in the state for 24 hours. In addition, there are plans to install oxygen pipelines in 41 more government hospitals by May 15, 2021, official sources said. In that case, the health department officials think that 3000 more covid patients can be given proper treatment.

This will allow hospitals to become more self-sufficient without having to rely on oxygen-supplying resources. It has been decided that the principals of all government medical colleges, government district hospitals, super specialty hospitals and sub-divisional hospitals will be able to collect oxygen at CMS approved rates from now on. But in that case you must obey the instructions of the finance department.

Time is of the essence in treatment. Therefore, the principals and MSVPs of medical colleges and hospitals will also keep an eye on him so that he can take a quick decision without delay. Initiatives are being taken by the state government so that they can arrange for expansion of the pipeline to their own hospitals in direct compliance with the directives through direct communication with the finance ministry.
