MAKAUT, WB Aims to Improve the Quality of School Education Amidst the COVID Pandemic

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB is committed to improve the quality of entire teaching-learning process, right from the school stage. The Corona Virus Pandemic, has left the students a bit confused and disturbed since the last year. The vibrant school/college life, meeting with friends, face to face discussion with teachers–all has come to a standstill.  To drive away all the uneasiness, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), WB under its School Connect Initiative is organizing an Online Conference of Head Maters/Mistresses of different schools from the state for three days. The Honourable Vice-chancellor of MAKAUT Prof. (Dr.) Saikat Maitra will grace the occasion. The Deputy Secretary (Academic) of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Dr. Partha Karmakar will also be present.
The programme will be from 6th to 8th May, 2021 fron 7 p m onwards.

The Honourable Vice-chancellor of MAKAUT Prof. (Dr.) Saikat Maitra has been the key inspiration behind organizing this online programme.

The importance of contemporary digital methods as effective teaching-learning techniques, that is, Digital Pedagogy is always highlighted by Professor Dr. Saikat Maitra. He has rightly pointed out that, it is the teachers, who can apply their innovative mindset to implement it properly. How best these techniques can be used for the benefit of the students, depend on the teachers, who must adapt to the new mode of teaching over time. It is an approach to augment the entire teaching-learning process.
