Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday reacted to the claims circulating on social media platforms of him potentially moving to the Rajya Sabha. Confirming his significant political shift, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said, “I seek to become a member of the Rajya Sabha in the elections being held this time. I want to assure you with complete honesty that my relationship with you will continue in the future as well, and my resolve to work together with you to build a developed Bihar will remain steadfast. Ending his tenure as Bihar’s longest-serving CM, Kumar added, “From the very beginning of my parliamentary journey, there has been a desire in my heart to become a member of both Houses of the Bihar Legislature as well as both Houses of Parliament. In keeping with this aspiration, I seek to become a member of the Rajya Sabha in the elections being held this time,” the post further read. “I want to assure you with complete honesty that my relationship with you will continue in the future as well, and my resolve to work together with you to build a developed Bihar will remain steadfast. At what time will Nitish Kumar file nomination?
Kumar is likely to file his nomination papers at the state assembly around 11 am. BJP president Nitin Nabin will also file his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha polls. It is reported thst Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to be present at the time of filing of the nomination papers.
