Kolkata, September,2026: The prestigious Design Conclave 2K26 was successfully concluded at the CII Suresh Neotia Centre of Excellence, bringing together innovation, creativity, technology, industry collaboration and emerging talent on a common platform.
The mega event was organised by Srijani Techno Institute and Srijani Private ITI, and featured a unique integration of the institution’s two flagship events — THINKING 2K26 and PRISMATIC 2K26The conclave served as a platform for students to showcase their technical skills, innovative ideas and creative excellence while interacting with industry professionals.
THINKING 2K26
As part of the seminar-cum-exhibition, students from various departments including Electrician, Fitter, Automobile Mechanic, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Welder, Fire & Safety Management, Interior Design, and Multimedia & Animation showcased their innovative projects.
The exhibition featured innovative models and live demonstrations, giving students an opportunity to demonstrate their practical knowledge and technical capabilities.
Students also had the opportunity to interact with representatives and industry leaders associated with organisations including Morning Bells Academy, ABID Group, Animatrix Studios PvtLtd., BCIPL, Daikin, Bata India Limited, L&T, Mahindra Motors, Shapoorji Pallonji Construction, Cooltech India Limited, New Allenberry, Hitachi and Safety World, among others.
A major highlight of THINKING 2K26 was the Industry Talk Show, where experts shared valuable insights on industry requirements, workplace expectations, career opportunities and the skills required to become industry-ready professionals.
PRISMATIC 2K26
The event also featured PRISMATIC 2K26, the institution’s annual fashion show, where students presented nine designer collections.
The collections showcased contemporary silhouettes, innovative fabric applications and creative runway presentations, reflecting the students’ understanding of modern fashion and design.
The event provided an important platform for aspiring fashion designers to present their creativity and gain exposure to the professional fashion environment.
Distinguished Guests and Jury Panel
The overall programme was conducted under the leadership of Director BNPati, with Event Mentor Soumen Ghosh guiding the event.
The occasion was further enriched by the special presence of DrSohini Shastri.
The distinguished jury panel comprised Sayantan Sarkar, Roop Bakshi, Shantanu Guha Thakurta, Yashashree Rahman and Professor Subarna Ghosh.
Grand Award Ceremony
The conclave concluded with a grand award ceremony led by Principal Soma Sarkar, where DrSohini Shastri and members of the jury panel presented awards to the winners.
Guests and industry representatives appreciated the students for their dedication, technical skills, creativity and industry-oriented approach.
