Weather Forecast: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a rain and thunderstorm alert for several Indian states, including Kerala, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Arunachal Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan, Goa and Madhya MaharashtraMonsoon showers are also expected in parts of the Northeast and southern states in the coming daysNorth Indian states such as Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh and Uttar Pradesh are expected to remain dry.

Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad Weather

The IMD has predicted dry and sunny weather for Delhi and adjoining areas for Sunday, with no significant rainfall expectedThe dry spell in Delhi and NCR is likely to continue for a few days, with isolated to scattered monsoon showers likely from October 6 to 7Similar weather conditions are expected in Haryana and Chandigarh.

Uttar Pradesh Weather

According to the weather department, the North Indian state is expected to witness dry weather on Sunday as well, with no weather warning till October 9Most of the cities will witness a clear and sunny sky tomorrow.

Odisha Weather

While North India is expected to remain largely dry, Odisha is likely to witness scattered rainfall tomorrowMonsoon showers are expected to continue until Wednesday, October 7, until then, several parts of the state will witness clear skies.

Several parts of both states may receive isolated to scattered rain from October 5For Sunday, IMD has not issued any weather warning.

Arunachal Pradesh Weather

According to the weather department, several parts of the Northeast, including Arunachal Pradesh, are likely to witness thunderstorms and lightning and  isolated heavy rainfall on SundayMonsoon activity is likely to continue over the region till October 7.

Maharashtra Weather

Konkan and Goa are likely to receive isolated to scattered rainfall on SundayParts of Madhya Maharashtra, including Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Lonavala, Nashik, Malegaon, Ahilyanagar, Shirdi, Sangamner, Solapur, Pandharpur, Kolhapur, Ichalkaranji, Satara, Karad, Mahabaleshwar, Sangli, Miraj, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Dhule and Nandurbarx are likely to witness scattered showersWet conditions are expected till October 7.

Karnataka Weather

South India

There is a possibility that parts of Kerala and Mahe would remain under a fairly widespread rainfall spell through October 7IMD has also warned of Isolated heavy rain over parts of Kerala and Mahe from October 4 to 6South Interior Karnataka may receive isolated downpours on October 5Other monsoon activities such as thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds are likely over parts of southern India.
