InventHelp Inventor Develops Comfortable and Discreet Eyepatch (HOF-830)

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — “My right eye was damaged by a brain aneurysm resulting in it moving to the right. I wanted to create a more comfortable and discreet eyepatch option,” said an inventor, from Houston, Texas, “so I invented the OJO EYEPATCH. My design eliminates uncomfortable elastic straps that garner a great deal of attention.”

The invention provides an improved design for an eyepatch. In doing so, it offers an alternative to traditional eyepatches that utilize an elastic band or an adhesive. As a result, it offers a discreet appearance. It also increases comfort. The invention features a flexible design that is easy to wear so it is ideal for anyone who requires an eyepatch including individuals who have an injured eye, after eye surgery, or experience double vision. Additionally, a prototype is available.

The original design was submitted to the Houston sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
