Basudha Kalyan Ashram Family Begins Its Journey in West Bengal; National Art & Culture Wing ‘Kalyan Bharati’ Makes Formal Debut

West Bengal, August: On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Basudha Kalyan Ashram Family officially commenced its journey in West Bengal with a tree plantation programmeOn the same occasion, the organisation announced the formal launch of its national art and culture wing, ‘Kalyan Bharati’.

The programme was graced by the presence of Param Pujya Gurudev Acharya Shri Paban Maharaj Ji, Guru Maa Manorama Ji and Sadhika Sanghita DiThe event was anchored by SmtSwarnali Mitra Ji.

Several distinguished guests were also present at the programme, including SmtShilpi Pal, Shubhranshu Ghosh (Reporter), Satyajit Roy (Reporter), Debeshwar Kumar (National President, Shri Tarun Mitra Pragya Parishad), Shri Ramesh Kumar (District President, Shri Tarun Mitra Pragya Parishad), Shri Bikash Sinha, Shri Sanjay Mahesh (Secretary, North Kolkata BJP), Shri Debashish Pine (Member, BJP State Community) and senior journalist Mrityunjay Roy.

All distinguished guests were felicitated with traditional ceremonial garments and commemorative mementos.

Following the Saraswati Vandana, SmtShilpi Pal was honoured with an idol of Goddess Saraswati and formally took charge of ‘Kalyan Bharati’.

Shilpi Pal Takes on Dual Responsibility

SmtShilpi Pal has been entrusted with two important responsibilitiesShe has been appointed President of the Basudha Kalyan Ashram Family in West Bengal as well as National President of ‘Kalyan Bharati’.

Speaking at the occasion, Acharya Shri Paban Maharaj Ji said that Bengal has long been a land of spiritual practice for him and that, through the various social service initiatives of the Basudha Kalyan Ashram Family, the state is now also becoming his field of service and work.

He further stated that ‘Kalyan Bharati’ will work towards the preservation and promotion of India’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, including Indian art, music, literature, dance and folk traditionsThe organisation also aims to provide a dedicated platform for talented artists from underprivileged and disadvantaged backgrounds, enabling their abilities to receive wider recognition and opportunities.

The launch marks a significant step towards bringing together social service, cultural preservation and the promotion of emerging artistic talent under a common platform.
