Kolkata, June 29: The 13th Installation Ceremony of the Lions Club of Calcutta Quest, District 322B1, was held with great dignity and enthusiasm on Monday evening at the Rooftop View Restaurant, Vaibhav Shopping Mall, Lee Road, Kolkata. On the occasion, LN Rajkumar Prasad formally assumed office as the President of the Club, ushering in a new chapter of service, leadership, and social commitment along with the newly installed Executive Committee.
Addressing the gathering after taking over the presidency, LN Rajkumar Prasad reaffirmed his commitment to carrying forward the Lions Club’s proud legacy of humanitarian service. He stated that the Club would strive to expand its community welfare initiatives and extend meaningful assistance to every section of society. He also called upon all members to work together with dedication, unity, and a shared spirit of service to take the Club to greater heights.
The ceremony was graced by District Governor LN Manju Chamaria as the Chief Guest. The dignitaries congratulated the newly installed President and his team, expressing confidence that under his leadership the Club would achieve new milestones in social service and community development.
The installation and oath-taking ceremony was conducted by PDG Lion S. P. Bhatt, while Mr. Narayan Jain, the Keynote Speaker, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the importance of visionary leadership, teamwork, and humanitarian values.
The new Executive Committee includes LN MD Faiyaz Hanif as Secretary and LN Ashish Jhunjhunwala as Treasurer. Both office-bearers will work closely with President LN Rajkumar Prasad in advancing the Club’s service projects and community initiatives.
The programme was conducted smoothly under the guidance of PDG Lion Lekha Sharma. Zone Chairperson and Director Lion Mahesh Kumar Goyal also extended his best wishes to the newly installed team and expressed confidence in its future endeavours.
The ceremony was attended by numerous Lions members, office-bearers, distinguished guests, and eminent citizens. The event concluded on a note of renewed commitment to humanitarian service, fellowship, and the ideals of Lionism, with the Club pledging to continue making a meaningful impact on society.
