Unhealthy weight gain can act as a catalyst to several health complications. Obesity may risk your heart health, diabetes, respiratory issues, joint pain etc. Everyday becomes a challenges. But it is not impossible to cut out all that unhealthy fat build up. Brittany McCrystal, an online fitness coach, shares her weight loss transformation on her social media.

McCrystal had a desk job that took her weight scale to around 80 kgs, reported Daily Mail.

Weight Loss Diet: How to Lose 25kgs ?

“When I started my weight loss journey there was no wayyyy I would include things like soft serve into my day because I immediately labeled everything that tasted good as “bad food” this would only lead me to completely fall off track after a few days and have horrible food guilt,” her social media caption read.

It was only when I started included things I loved into my diet everyday that I actually started to see changes, I stopped looking at eating ‘healthy’ as a punishment and actually started enjoying the foods I was eating. This is when things started changing for the better in almost every aspect of my life.

Here is what her weight loss diet is:

  • Soy milk latte: Vanilla protein oats: Oat are whole grains that are highly fibrous and protein rich as well. McCrystal consumes a bowl of oats mixed with vanilla protein, oat milk, honey, banana, blueberries. Banana and blueberries are healthy addition in the bowl.
  • Chicken and avocado wrap: Wholemeal wrap, lettuce, chicken, avocado, cucumber, tomato, light mayo is the recipe for McCrystal’s wrap. Chicken helps with protein intake while the veggies balance the nutrients.
  • Strawberry smoothies bowl: Frozen strawberries, vanilla protein powder, almond, frozen banana, etc. Strawberries are rich in antioxidants that fights radicals and oxidative stress.
  • Chipotle chicken and rice bowl: The fitness coach makes her bowl with lime rice, chipotle marinated chicken, corn salsa, black beans, tomato, avocado, and shredded cheese. This bowl is an ideal lunch meal that is protein and nutrient balanced.

“Dessert at the end of the day is always a ‘non-negotiable’, so she ate a bowl of ice cream.”

One must remember that weight loss diets are individualistic. The nutrient requirement and goal of everyone is different and that is how a tailor made meal plan can be chalked out with a guidance of a professional.
