#Kabul: After coming to power, the Taliban brought a huge change in the education system of Afghanistan (Afghanistan Crisis). The new Education Minister Sheikh Molvi Noorullah Munir has said that there is no value in a Masters or PhD degree. Because mullahs do not have this degree but today they are the best in the world.
The new education minister said, ‘PhD and master’s degrees are priceless these days. Because none of the mullahs and Taliban leaders have PhDs, masters or even high school degrees. But they are the best. ‘ Munir’s remarks have sparked strong criticism around the world. Some Afghans fear that the education system introduced in Afghanistan over the past 20 years could collapse under the Taliban regime. Already, the boys and girls in the college have been divided among themselves. In many places, only older women teachers are employed for girls and women. The Taliban have also cracked down on private colleges and universities that introduced modern education after the end of the Taliban regime in 2001.
This is the Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban – says No Phd degree, master’s degree is valuable today. You see that the Mullahs & Taliban that are in the power, have no Phd, MA or even a high school degree, but are the greatest of all. pic.twitter.com/gr3UqOCX1b

The Taliban finally announced a new government on Tuesday, two weeks after seizing power in Afghanistan. The names of 33 members of the Iranian-made cabinet have been announced. Hibatullah Akhundzada will be at the top of the Taliban government. Mohammad Hasan Akhund has become the Prime Minister of the new government. Abdul Gani Baradar is his deputy.
On the one hand, after the formation of the government, the Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada said that the new government of Afghanistan will be governed by Sharia law. This Sharia law does not give women the right to education. It was feared that the new government would hit the education system, but this time the new education minister Sheikh Maulvi Nurullah Munir said that there is no value in a PAED or a master’s degree.
