#Kolkata: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself expressed her displeasure over the delay in inaugurating and laying the groundwork for the long-awaited projects at the Bankura and Purulia district administrative meetings this week. Not only that, during the live broadcast, the Chief Minister presented the work of some projects which have been lying dormant for a long time, in the presence of the Chief Secretary and the Home Secretary. This time Nabanna is active because of him. Nabanna wanted to know the progress of the projects inaugurated and laid by the Chief Minister. Nabanna asked for the status report from every department and district magistrate of each district. Besides, Chief Secretary Harikrishna Dwivedi called an emergency meeting. According to sources, the meeting will be held on June 7 at 4 pm.
Secretaries of various departments and district governors of each district have been directed to attend the meeting virtually. Not only that, every department and every district has been directed to upload the details of the projects inaugurated and laid by the Chief Minister in the “Coordination Portal” created by the State Government. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her displeasure at the recent administrative meeting of the two districts over why the projects inaugurated for five to six years have not worked. Show the progress of those projects with pictures in front of the Chief Secretary. It is believed that the top officials of Navanna then started working on this whole issue.
Complaints received from the Chief Minister’s Office at different times will be reviewed to see how fast the various departments are disposing of them and how fast the districts are disposing of them. Besides, there will be discussions on how to make the “Bangla Sahayata Kendras” more operational, according to sources. A detailed outline of how the various departments can deliver services to the general public through the Bangla Aid Centers may also be worked out at a meeting on June 8, it seems. The Chief Secretary has already instructed in a virtual meeting on Wednesday that there will be a government at the door in the tribal areas. The government will be at the door four days a week from 13th June to 31st July. After that, the administration thinks that this emergency meeting of the Chief Secretary is important enough.
