#BoseDK — A Powerful Tale of Friendship, Fame & Truth in the Digital Age

A new-age Bengali film, #BoseDK, directed by Anshuman Pratyush, is all set to go on floors soon. Produced by Tapashn Media and Kunal Saha, the film stars Bonny Sengupta and Shubhanki (Ritwii) Dhar in lead roles, alongside Shankar Chakraborty, Manasi Sinha, Saikat Dey, and Rana Basu Thakur.

About the Film
#BoseDK explores the dazzling yet volatile world of social media stardom. The story revolves around Kingshuk Bose, a massively popular social media influencer known as “King.” With a fan base that rivals even the biggest film stars, Kingshuk commands a powerful digital presence backed by a professional content and marketing team. However, he often finds himself conflicted over the meaningless content trends that dominate the online space.
At a college event, Kingshuk meets Diya Bose, a thoughtful and fearless young creator who questions the substance of his content. Unlike others, Diya challenges him — and in doing so, sparks a connection rooted in shared values. While Diya consistently produces meaningful content, she struggles to gain views and recognition.
Recognizing her authenticity and creative vision, Kingshuk decides to collaborate with Diya on a meaningful content piece. The result? A viral sensation that gives birth to #BoseDK — a digital movement blending entertainment with purpose. Together, they redefine online storytelling and quickly become one of the most talked-about content duos. The world assumes they are romantically involved, but in reality, they share a deep and honest friendship.
Just when everything seems perfect, a shocking controversy erupts. A video of Diya allegedly intoxicated goes viral. The situation worsens when medical reports confirm alcohol presence in her system — despite her strong denial and lifelong aversion to alcohol. As social media turns against her and boycott campaigns begin, Kingshuk’s team advises him to distance himself from Diya.
But Kingshuk refuses to abandon her.
Determined to uncover the truth, he secretly takes Diya away for a few days. During this journey, he closely observes her and realizes that she is not consuming alcohol — yet she continues to display signs of intoxication. What unfolds next forms the emotional and dramatic core of the film, highlighting trust, resilience, and the power of unwavering friendship.
Against all odds, #BoseDK rises again — proving that honesty and loyalty can conquer even the harshest storms of the digital world.
