A statement issued by the department said, “Since June 28, Uttar Pradesh has received an average rainfall of 7.5 mm, which is 94.93 percent as compared to the normal rainfall of 7.9 mm. Thus, from June 1-28, the state received an average rainfall of 43.5 mm, which is 53.04% as compared to the normal rainfall of 82 mm.”

Naveen said that in the last 24 hours, no district in the state has recorded 30 mm or more rainfall.
