Additionally, refund rules have been improved, eliminating the need for passengers to pay any additional fees. This will provide financial relief to passengers. The new system also offers additional facilities to passengers. Passengers will now be able to change their boarding station up to half an hour before the train’s departure. Furthermore, if seats become available, they will also be able to upgrade their travel class up to half an hour before the train’s departure. Commercial Inspector in-charge DD Shukla says that till now the chart was prepared about four hours before the departure of the train, but it has been increased to 9 to 18 hours before. Now ticket booking will be done through RailOne app The old UTS app was discontinued nationwide from March 1 and was replaced by the RailOne app. This new app will not only be used for general tickets and platform tickets, but will also provide almost all railway services in one place. The RailOne app will provide general ticket booking, platform ticket booking, reservation berth or seat booking, train status and live location, and other travel-related features. Ticket booking is easier than ever before Now you won’t need to visit IRCTC or any other platform separately. All ticketing will be done through a single app. This will save time, eliminate the hassle of switching apps, and make ticket booking easier than ever.
