In a shocking incident, an ambulance driver and his aide threw a neurology patient out of the ambulance in Uttar Pradesh. They snatched his oxygen mask that led to his death. The driver and his aide also allegedly molested the patient’s wife. The victim’s family was robbed of Rs 10,000 and jewellery.
The patient’s wife said that she hired the ambulance from the Indira Nagar area where her husband was admitted to a hospital at Aravali Marg in C-block. They were heading back to their native place to Siddharth Nagar when the incident took place. The woman’s brother was also accompanying them but he too was held hostage in the front cabin.
While narrating her ordeal, she said that the ambulance driver asked her to sit in the front so the police would not stop the vehicle in the night while watching her. She sat in the front but the driver and his aide started molesting her.
When she objected to their act, they didn’t stop. The woman’s husband and her brother noticed that she was in trouble and started shouting. Later, the duo started fighting with the woman’s husband and her brother. They lodged her brother in the front cabin and locked him.
They stopped the ambulance near Chhavani police station area and snatched the oxygen mask of the patient and threw him out. They also looted Rs 10,000 cash and jewellery from them.
The police have registered a case after the woman filed a complaint with them.
