Before playing for Rajasthan Royals, England all-rounder Sam Curran represented three franchises in his IPL career. In 2019, he began his career for the Punjab Kings. After that, he represented Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2020 and 2021.In 2023, he became the most expensive player in the league. Punjab Kings acquired him into the squad for INR 18.5 crore ,and he played for them till 2024. However, he was bought by the Chennai Super Kings for INR 2.4 crore for IPL 2025.
