Famous Australian actor Hugh Jackman, best known for his portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men series, visited the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground during the Boxing Day Test between India and Australia in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

New Delhi: Famous Australian actor Hugh Jackman, best known for his portrayal of Wolverine in the X-Men series, visited the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground during the Boxing Day Test between India and Australia in the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Following an exciting Day 1 of the IND vs AUS 4th Test, Jackman took the opportunity to watch the match live from the historic MCG stands. The Hollywood star shared some moments from his visit on his social media handle.

Jasprit Bumrah showcased his skill once more as India made a strong recovery on Day 1 of the fourth Test against Australia in Melbourne. At the close of play, Australia’s score stood at 311/6, with Steve Smith (68*) and Pat Cummins (8*) remaining at the crease. Debutant Sam Konstas (60) ignited the Australian charge with a brilliant half-century, marking a memorable debut with some remarkable shots. Usman Khawaja (57), Marnus Labuschagne (72), and Steve Smith (68 not out) all made valuable contributions with fifties on a solid batting pitch. Jasprit Bumrah (3/75) was, as expected, India’s standout bowler.
