Noida Weather: The weather department issued an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms in 19 states today.







Noida Weather: With the arrival of the monsoon in Kerala on June 4, heavy rains have started lashing several parts of the country. Moderate rain accompanied by heavy storms lashed parts of Delhi and the adjoining National Capital Region (NCR), significantly dropping the temperature. However, the downpour also caused severe waterlogging and uprooting of trees and electric poles in several areas. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), similar weather is expected today as well.

IMD Issues Heavy Rain Alert for Several Regions

The weather department issued an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms in 19 states today. Strong winds of up to 70 to 80 kmph are expected in several states. Northeastern states are expected to witness heavy rain for the next 5-6 days.

Furthermore, the weather in Northwest, Central, and Eastern India may also remain inclement today.

The weather department has issued heavy rain alert for 19 states, including Delhi, UP, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Assam.

Heavy Rain alert has been issued for Uttar Pradesh, including Noida, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, and Kanpur. Another spell of rain accompanied by thunderstorms is expected in the region today. The weather change is expected after 3 pm.

IMD has issued a warning for 38 districts in the state. Winds will blow at speeds of up to 70-80 kmph.

An Orange alert has been issued for 21 districts, including Prayagraj, Varanasi, Agra, Jhansi, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Firozabad, Etawah, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Lalitpur and adjoining areas.

Delhi Weather

Residents of the capital city will find relief from the heat today. The sky will remain mostly cloudy throughout the day. IMD predicted winds up to 60 km/h, along with rain and lightning.

Pleasant weather is expected to continue on Saturday.

Today, the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to hover between 36-37 degrees 36 and 37us and the minimum temperature is likely to settle at around 29 degrees Celsius.
