A tragic incident in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar claimed the lives of a 19-year-old man and his parents on Friday after the family went to a hill area following a dispute at homeThe incident happened at Khavdya Hills in the Tisgaon areaPolice identified the deceased as Kunal Chandgude, 19, his father Murlidhar Chandgude, 48, and his mother Sangita Chandgude.
According to reports, Kunal had reportedly asked his father to buy him a new iPhoneMurlidhar, who worked as a driver and was said to be the family’s only earning member, could not afford the phone because of financial difficultiesAfter the argument, Kunal left home and went towards the hills at around 10 am.

Concerned about their son’s safety, his parents followed him and tried to convince him to come backVillagers, police personnel and firefighters later joined the effort to bring him to safetyThe rescue operation continued for nearly three hoursFirefighters tried to place a safety net below the steep part of the hill, but reaching Kunal safely proved difficult as he continued moving along the slope.
