Ravi Teja’s Irumudi has made a strong start at the box office, crossing the Rs 50 crore mark in India within its opening weekendThe Telugu film saw its highest single-day collection on Sunday, showing a steady rise in earnings since its releaseAccording to Sacnilk, Irumudi earned Rs 18.80 crore net in India on Sunday, taking its three-day total to Rs 50.30 croreThe film, directed by Shiva Nirvana, was released in theatres on August 21.
As of Day 4, the first Monday, Irumudi is currently running across 1,071 shows and has collected a net of Rs 1.89 crore (LIVE)This brings total India gross collections to Rs 60.88 Cr and total India net to Rs 52.39 Cr so far, with India final collections yet to be reported.
Irumudi also performed well overseas, earning Rs 3.50 crore on Day 3Its overseas gross collection has reached Rs 13.50 crore, taking its worldwide gross to Rs 71.87 crore.

Period drama Batwara 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, stars Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol and Preity ZintaThe film has collected approximately Rs 36.80 crore net in India and around Rs 52.52 crore worldwide gross after 10 days of release, way behind new releases like Awarapan 2 and Irumudi.

Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi stars Ravi Teja as TrinathThe cast also includes Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Swasika Vijay, Ramesh Indira, Rajkumar Kasireddy and Kishore Kumar Polimera.
The film follows Trinath, an alcoholic father with a troubled past who lives with his daughter in a remote village in Andhra Pradesh.
