Kolkata, November 2026,By Sanchaiyta Halder : Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) and Ambuja Neotia Group have launched AltAir House – IHCL SeleQtions in Kolkata and Siliguri, marking a significant step in expanding West Bengal’s hospitality sector.
Ambuja Neotia has committed ₹2,700 crore towards hospitality projects across Kolkata, Raichak, Digha, Siliguri, Lataguri, Kalimpong and Darjeeling.
The investment also includes ₹100 crore for the expansion of Taj Chia Kutir Resort & Spa in Darjeeling, adding 28 rooms and 15,000 sqftof banqueting space.AltAir House offers 42 rooms and suites in Kolkata’s New Town and 60 rooms and suites in Siliguri’s Uttorayon Township.The initiative aims to strengthen tourism infrastructure, introduce distinctive hospitality experiences and boost West Bengal’s growing tourism potential.
