The National Capital recorded a slightly warm day on September 14, with the maximum temperature at the Safdarjung observatory settling at 35.6 degrees Celsius, 1.8 notches above the seasonal average, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD)Additionally, the IMD has predicted generally cloudy skies with light rain on Tuesday, with minimum and maximum temperatures likely to oscillate between 24-33 degrees Celsius, respectively.
At Palam, the maximum temperature was 33.4 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees below normal, while Lodi Road recorded a high of 34.2 degrees Celsius, 1.2 degrees above normalThe minimum temperature at Safdarjung was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, 1.9 degrees above normal.
According to IMD, most parts of Delhi remained dry during the day, though trace rainfall was recorded at Lodi Road between 8.30 am and 5.30 pmAyanagar recorded a maximum temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius, 0.5 degrees below normal.
