By Rishita Kayal :- Kolkata’s Ruby General Hospital has officially inaugurated six new modular Operation Theatres (OTs) and two state-of-the-art robotic surgery systems.
With this expansion, the hospital’s total number of specialised OTs has increased to 11, including OTs specifically designed for organ transplantation (transplant surgery) and robotic surgery.
The new technologies include the globally renowned Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, designed to enable minimally invasive and highly precise surgical procedures, and an Orthopaedic TKR Robotic System, designed to facilitate knee replacement surgery with sub-millimetre precision.
