By Anushka Mitra :- Ahead of the 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections, several exit poll projections have been released, indicating a closely contested race between the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to these surveys, the margin separating the two major parties appears to be very narrow.
When compared to the results of previous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, political analysts suggest that this year’s contest could be even more competitive and intense.
However, it is important to note that these figures are based solely on exit poll predictions. The final outcome will only be confirmed once the official results are declared.
